Personally, I've been eating normally for the last fifteen years since I had

my surgery with no complications. I don't even have any problems when I eat

lots of fat.

I had gallbladder surgery on Friday and was discharged on a regular diet.

What is the current thinking on post-cholecystectomy diet? I have been

retired for almost 10 years. The last I heard, the diet was low-fat.

Thank you. When I get my appetite back, I will eat normally. We don't

usually have a high fat diet anyway, but with the holidays, it does go up

some.
