Guest guest
Speaking of faith based dieting, is anyone interested in doing a ceu module on this topic? I need an author in this area. I think it has many positive elements and the research ,from my standspoint is true. The greater your faith, the heavier you are. We need more programs in churches and I need a module to guide dietitians to do this type of programming. Kathy J. " Virtual Nutrition CEUs " First, I'd have to challenge the statement of " the greater your faith, the heavier you are. " I don't see this to be true at all. However, having lived in 8 different communities in 5 states and attending many different denomination's services-mostly, but not all Christian.) I have to admit that there seems to be an abundance of obesity in some denominations, and almost non-existent obesity in others. It seems the more " guilt and sin based " preaching, the more obesity. Just my observations since high school and 31 years of attending churches other than the one I " grew up " in. I'd love to see actual research on the topic!
