Guest guest Posted February 15, 2007 Report Share Posted February 15, 2007 Has anyone had any experiance using Touch Math - This is what they are using to teach Mathematics and I have my doubts about it - she is obsessed with counting the dots and it takes her forever - it takes me forever to put the dang dots on the paper before we can even start doing the problems. She is not reading the problems and I have to keep reminding her to read the question first and did she already figure out what 5 + 5 was - then we can use that answer. I am just not sure we can generalize this touch math into daily life (where there are no dots on the numbers!) If you have had any experiance with this let me know.
