Guest guest
Hi I am intersted in what you say about Milk Thistle and phara drugs, could you say a bit more about the reasons for not mixing these. I very much need to take Milk Thistle for my Hep C so this advice puts me in a bit of a difficult situation. Thanks a lot. Mo

Guest guest
Someone asked why milk thistle should not be taken with pharmaceutical drugs. It has a tendency to make drugs go through your system and be eliminated more rapidly. You don't want this when you are trying to withdraw. It can put you into heavier withdrawal. Guest guest
Okay this has me a bit concerned. I am off the Zoloft 100% and have been for almost 3 months now. I still have my days, but for the most part I am doing so much better now. I am doing a liver cleansing diet, which has me using Milk Thistle in a supplement form (has other things in it), HOWEVER I am on a blood pressure and thyroid medication. Why can't I use Milk Thistle while on a pharmaceutical drug? Now I am worried.... Terri
