Uh, certainly this type of action by any federal government agency against any legal American business would be considered illegal and or immoral and would never happen here in America.... Would it?

Hmmmm, I've found Mike to write very good articles and I doubt he would write anything like this just off the cuff.. I have a good deal of respect for his articles and I am sure he's done his homework on this article...

Please take the time to read what Mike writes about what American businesses selling supplements are up against if the FDA comes a calling.. I never knew they could do all of this and then have the supplement companies actually pay the FDA for doing it!! Really, this goes on in America today? Apparently so.. Imagine you have a supplement company and the FDA comes a calling and tells you they are going to investigate your business and you are going to pay them for doing so! Who ends up paying for this? We the consumer ultimately pay the bill for this in the form of higher supplement prices and if the FDA is successful at closing down the business, less competition which almost always leads to higher prices.

We either invest the time and effort now and try to stop the FDA from controlling our supplements, because if they win this war (and we should never allow them to win), we will end up having access to only the supplements the FDA approves for us and it will be at a much higher price, AND these supplements we have easy access to day by just buying them in a store or online may need to be scripted by a doctor for us to even have access to them. The expense of a $20 supplement today could easily cost $200 or more if the FDA is successful..

With an election coming up just around the corner, now is a good time to let our lawmakers know how we feel.. Just about everyone uses supplements, so we all have a vested interest in stopping the FDA from gaining control over our supplements NOW!
