Guest guest
An RD colleague sent me this question on an eating disorder patient - can anyone help? I saw a 20 year old with a history of an eating disorder that is now eating about 1400 calories a day, getting at least two hours of exercise each day and is slowly gaining weight. She has discussed this phenomenon with her doctor and gynecologist with no solutions. She is now traveling abroad and I thought I would poke around to see if others see this phenomenon. It may not be that unusual after an eating disorder but it has been at least 4 years since she severely restricted. Thanks,Dianne Check Nutrition at my site: Nutrition.teach-nology.com Ortiz, RD nrord@... " Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie.
