If it's accomplishing things (including educating others) in spite of socially-imposed barriers, then I'd agree... Though as an autistic mentioned elsewhere, we shouldn't need to do that in the first place. If it's just reinforcing those barriers by playing along with them without offering any kind of challenge to their presence, then the only thing it seems to accomplish is making sure that the next person has an even harder time.
