Guest guest Posted December 5, 2010 Report Share Posted December 5, 2010 While on the one hand I don't really feel I can afford staff right now I also don't feel I can take on more patients without hiring staff. What kinds of questions should I be asking myself to make this decision? Is there an archived thread? How do I determine what to pay since the person I would like to hire is LPN but will be doing mostly office/clerical work? She's also a good friend and I want to be sure about boundaries to not destroy our friendship. I was thinking of having her be an independent contractor but apparently the IRS frowns on this.
