You're autistic? But people LIKE you!

Anyone else get this one?

One of the things I commonly hear is, " But people LIKE you! " , as if

autism and being *likeable* are mutually exclusive.

I don't think being autistic means you have a suckass personality.

Plenty of people have that without being autistic. I think a lot of

people are confusing the real symptoms of Asperger's with just plain

being a jerk.
