They are prehistoric looking creatures and unlike chickens cannot be fenced. They have flight capability, so if your property is a little close, you might want to give the neighbors a heads up. If you start out feeding them, they will stay on your property (sort of). Lots of good qualities. They will also keep the garden pretty clean of bugs, so you can grow without any pesticides. (Not perfect). Fingers crossed but with our five quineas we have not had a tick on the two dogs since we got them. Coincidence…I think not.
