Guest guest
Hi all, I know ive posted in past yr about the ''angel food ministries'' programs that they have in each state. I wanted to post again for any new members who may be interested or for you to pass on to anyone who may also be blessed by this. Dennis and i had gotten this angel food program over past few yrs when we lived in nc but then when we came to southern va over line we saw they didnt have any participating locations...they have a new one so im going to take part in it also. ANYONE can do it, there are no qualifying like other programs and you get LOT of food-all good quality ...you cant get 1/4 of the food u get here at the grocery store for this cost. You can do a search for ''host locations''....contact them about the order dates..you pay by that date and 2 wks later when foods delivered you go pick up with a few big boxes. theyll load it up for you and help get to your car if needed. They have the ''main '' box thats about 30.00 and then they have ''specials'' each month that i believe run about 18-20 bucks....they have ''grill boxes'' filled with steaks/meats...they have a fruit/veggie special box as well as others- changes each month. below I will include the website link as well as copy/paste this(sept) months menu and specials. Its well worth it. we will be getting them each month to help with grocery bill and also to stock up....OHH and for anyone on food stamp program they do take food stamps as payment too which is good If you have any questions ect please feel free to email me:) http://www.angelfoodministries.com/ To find a ''local host site'' http://www.angelfoodministries.com/hosts.asp and here is the menu for september.... *S E P T E M B E R 2 0 0 8 M E N U* Regular box- *For fourteen years, Angel Food has provided balanced nutrition and variety through its regular box, with enough food to feed a family of four for a week.* 1.5 lb. Guest guest
, Here is a link to Angel Food Ministries. Perhaps your church might want to sponsor a drop location. http://www.angelfoodministries.com/ Worth checking on. Would be a great contribution to your community. There is another food ministry, I can't remember their name but I will find out for you and give you the site address when I get it. ~Tommie~ www.myspace.com/tommiejj PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or what can go awry. If you put enough energy into doubt, something will undoubtedly go wrong. Instead, focus on the positive possibilities with a hopeful attitude. RE: angel food program-check this out n pass along-scroll down Unfortunately, there is no angel program in my area. I wish their was! Do you know is there a way to start one?
