Guest guest
Hello, We have recently joined and are really enjoying the informative posts. We started biomedical interventions with our 4 year old son about 5 months ago first with the GFCF diet followed by supplements. He really seems to respond. We recently got his stool tested for yeast and it came back with the Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast fairly high at 3+. Additionally, the report says that his yeast was rare. We had a meeting today with his DAN doctor and she explained to us that it was rare because apparently it continued to grow in the stool. I was wondering if anybody experienced a similar situation or had a comment about this. Our doctor recommends diflucan to battle the yeast. On a different note, his natural killer cell count is low (at 90 when the range is between 100 and 1000), which suggests a weak immune system towards viruses and hence, we discussed trying Valtrex. Any comments and general suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Cetin Ciner
