If an amnio shows that only two of 23 skin cells taken show signs of mosaicism,

what does

that mean for the child? Can the health implications still be severe?

There really is no way to know. It depends on where those cells are located in

the body. For instance: If the affected cells are located in the heart, then you

would expect heart problems. But, there is no way to find out exactly where the

cells are located and what they will affect in an amnio. It is just a " wait and

see " kind of thing
