Guest guest
For about a week now, my daughter Kaelyn (Age 3, Autism) has just not been herself. Really moody, snapping, irritable, fits where she throws herself to the floor screaming and rolling into things, flailing. At some points, all I can do is sit very still holding her while she clings to my neck so tight I can barely breathe. At other points, all I can do is watch while she tears the house to pieces in seconds. She is like the Tasmanian devil, a whirlwind of angry chaos. I am fairly certain I know what's happening. Guest guest
My son has behaved like this in the past when soy had been removed and then reintroduced. He was irritable, threw himself to the grond and rolled and kicked, and was just unhappy. We took soy away and that all went away. Guest guest
Ok, I was waiting for multiple responses and Crystals was one of them :)My concern IS PANDAS. She had the strep titer test done and I BELEIVE it came back ok.... I will be following that up tomorrow. I have heard back a lot about yeast overgrowth and after talking to my husband, I found out that she had a SLICE OF BREAD (she is gluten free) on Monday.... she started this all MONDAY NIGHT. So ok, NOW what do you all think? If this a reaction to going 8 months without gluten and then getting a slew of it? One slice may not be enough for ME, but I can't imagine what it has done to her.Crystal- I have an email in to J robertson on this.. she is OH so helpful and I dont know what I did without her- thank you for making me aware of DAN! in Maine.Ok guys- PLEASE tell me it is most likely yeast, not PANDAS. PANDAS scared the sh*t out of me....To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2009 9:08:40 PMSubject: Re: Re: Worried about sudden change in behavior OLE Recovering from Autism is a marathonNOT a sprint, but FULLY possible!Read more about it on my BLOGs athttp://www.myspace. com/christelkinghttp://foggyrock. com/MyPage/ recoveringwisheshttp://www.facebook .com/profile. php?id=677063169 Re: Re: Worried about sudden change in behaviorTo: mb12 valtrex@ yahoogroups. comDate: Sunday, January 18, 2009, 8:18 PM Have you considered PANDAS? http://www.adhd. com.au/PANDAS. htm the first signs I had with my son that made me look at PANDAS twice were the severe mood swings and the sudden separation anxiety. Guest guest
I understand. My hubby is doing better but it took him a long time to get involved in the game . He fought me for years on doing the chelation but I finally said, " Get out of my way or I'll run you over.".We tried the conventional drugs and it made things worse. Bandaiding symptoms is what most conventional docs do. My hubby is a surgeon and he wouldn't even admit there was something wrong for the longest time. I knew ,because I'm a mother.
