Legislative Advocacy: Cindi Paschall: Community Now!

Cindi Paschall, Community Now!

will provide an overview of long-term care issues faced by individuals who have

a disability and their family members and why long-term care reform is needed.

Given the budget crisis in Texas and a request for across the board budget cuts

the 82nd Legislative leadership will have many tough decisions to make. It is

more important now than ever that your voice be heard. Many people are at risk

of losing services currently received through a Medicaid Waiver program while

others continue to wait for community-based services on a " interest

list " . Don't Miss This Opportunity! Participants will leave empowered with

data driven information to guide discussions and strategies to employ during

the session.
