Sorry everyone for not being on for the last little while.

I would like to welcome everyone to the group and hope that you all are enjoying

it so far. It is a good group and they like to talk to be prepared for a lot of

mail.

Things are still pretty bummed here and I am not quite up to talking yet. I am

still trying to work things out. I have a lot of things hapening and I am still

very much depressed with everything.

Hope everyone is doing good.

Dear Sally,

You said:

<< - Im just writing to say that I think I am going to be

forced to take some medication.

After 2 years of withdrawal hell form seroxat then 6 weeks off prozac

I am at rock bottom.

I cannot look after myself or my children. My husband cant carry on

doing everything as well as having to come home from work when I cant

cope. We have no family near by.

I appreciate all the help you haev offered me and really do feel that

Im letting everyone down but I need to try and get back on some kind

of even keel for the sake of my children.>>

** I have to echo what Glitter said. I'd further add that I've never

seen anyone successfully go back on an antideprressant after being off one

as long as you have. Instead, they end up worse.

I really wish you'd take a higher dose of Valium and give it time from

your experience with the St. 's Wort. You discontinued these drugs

because of how poorly you felt on them. What is there to make you think you

will feel any differently?

We are always here for you, Sally. My biggest concern is you ending up

yet more damaged.

I really think you should wait a week or two until you are over the SJW

incident.

You know enough about these drugs to understand what a scam they are.

Tricyclics are no different from SSRIs. Knowledgeable psychopharmacologists

can tell you that. You're looking for something thatv doesn't exist in

pharmaceutical drugs, Sally. How much more are you willing to put yourself

through? What indication do you have that you will be better of on a drug?

Regards,

I absolutely agree that more drugs will not solve your problems! I also could not care for my own children, but knew that more drugs was not the answer. That's what got you into this mess to begin with. I have watched people continue to go down hill with the drugs, some never to recover. My family had to stay with me & my children for 6 months. My mother lived 6 hrs. away, but came & stayed. They worked out a schedule. You can also call local churches, they are usually more than willing to help.

** Thank you for contributing here. I recall a time when you thought you

weren't going to make it through. You kept at it and made it.

Your point about people who go back on drugs and becoming even worse is a

scenario I've seen too many times.

Excellent points, Kendee. :-)
