Okay, that said. May I ask about Mangosteen? I know it's been covered

before, but a friend just told us about it. (Another MLM juice - supposedly some

decent research showing it's a natural COX-2 inhibitor if I recall - just

glanced through the literature.)

Friend is approx 65 years old. Post MI, gout, arthritis, overweight male

that likes his beer too much, last I knew.

Had tried cherry juice for his gout for some time, said it helped, but still

a lot of pain.

He tried Mangosteen for 6 weeks. Says all arthritis and gout pain nearly

gone. Energy levels better. (Wife confirmed this.) Cost? About $100/month if

I

recall, but says just as cheap and works better than his pain meds that he

paid for.

No reason to doubt him. He's sold -- not that I need the stuff, but just

curious about other's experiences.
