Well don't stop it till 1.5 days before. If you are losing salt as in

hypoaldosteronism, you will be plenty low by then. BTW you need your

sopdium levels in the middle of their range, anything below mid range

and you need sea salt badly. Mine was 136 in a range of 135-142 and I

was really quite sick from it.

Thanks Val. I am ever grateful to you for suggesting a salt increase. I have

taken is fairly slowly and it is amazing that today is so different in

termsof symptoms disappearing. Confirmatioon surely?

Thanks also the the info re the range. My GP does not have a clue, so what's

new sez you!? I brought him info about Celtic seasalt yesterday and he

conceded that, yes, it contained important stuff like mag. so therefore was

better

for me that table salt BUT I must be careful not to take too much...... Yeah

OK doc! lol

Did youhave any symptoms , like mine? fatigue, brain fog, weeing for

Ireland lol!

etc. etc.

I started on the Celtic seasalt around the time the heat exhaustion

happened, a little beforemaybe, when a friend suggested it and this list also.

BUT

when I realised what was happening, the sodium depletion, I was very glad I had

just started it days before because I really dread to think what kind of

state I would be in now if I had not. Seriously.

I started putting the salt in 00 size capsules , each contains

approx quarter gram I think and I was only one about one a day when the heat

exhaustion thing happened. I have increased as per Val's advice as quickly as I

could. Not herx effect so far but, as I posted earlier, symptoms clearned uyp

today - dizziness, nausea, both of which were dominating my days.

Yes, I still have pretty rough fatigue, and when I do something I still

often need days to recover. For example, I painted today, I know its going

to take me days to recover before I can finish the job. Please pray I don't

have jury duty tomorrow! yuck. Brain fog still, yes, definately, mostly in

the afternoon with those darned palps.

The doctor is checking me for kidney infection also . Maybe. We will

see.

Oh yes! Symptoms galore, lol! I've always had a " small bladder capacity " ,

sometimes I can go every half hour for hours on end, and I always get up at

least once during the night to go. I've just always been this way, so never

thought anything of it. I'm ALWAYS whining to find a bathroom when we go

anywhere, I know where they all are ;-) I've also been prone to bladder

infections, but those have not happened since (1) I've been on cranberry

capsules; and (2) since switching to Armour.

Yes, I still have pretty rough fatigue, and when I do something I still

often need days to recover. For example, I painted today, I know its going

to take me days to recover before I can finish the job. Please pray I don't
