Hi there,

I have been taking 30 mg of Armour 2 times a day to = 60 mg a day.

Once in am and then about 3:00. I have been doing this now for 2

weeks. I'm just as tired as I was. I can say that maybe I'm a

little friendlier it seems and I'm starving to death. hungry. But

each day I keep thinking when I can get home and take a nap.

My results were:

TSH 4.2

T4 1.33

Free T3 2.9

Cortisol 11.6

Antithyroglobin 549 (0-40)

Could anyone shed any information on this. I'm desperate (aren't we

all with these problems).

I was taking 88 mg of sythyroid from my family doctor then decided

to go a thyroid specialist.

I sure would appreciate any information anyone would share.

Thanks,

Tammy

For the record, I was on 120 mg of Armour for a few months and felt fine, but

not enough, I could tell, asked for more, so Doc bumped me up 30 mg more in the

afternoon...

I am having the hardest time losing this last Thyroid gain and I too get

hungry as a horse... and I have started taking Melatonin and I have never wanted

to go to bed in my life, but it makes me nice n sleepy!!!

Is the starving thing normal for Armour??? I have lost a lb. a week

though... haven't had enough energy to start exercising yet...

I don't know if this helps or not, but it's what I ahve been going thru... I

am thinking you definately need more ARmour for starters...

Be well,

Pamela

Here is ytour problem. Most peple need 3-5 grains a day of Armour. You ar4e LONG

overdue for a dosage increase. 3-5 grains equals 180-300 MG.
