Guest guest
Congratulations, Nat! That is a great feat. I am much, much older than you and I still can't ride a two-wheeler! Judie, mom to Christi,
Guest guest
That is really great Emma Way to go Louise! Kristy Emma Reynolds wrote: A little " brag " of my own. I went to Lou's parent conference last night. Her teachers were really singing her praises, saying that she has learned a LOT since the beginning of school in all three areas. I have a concern about her care during the hols while I am at work as I don't want her sitting in front of the tv all the time and she and her sis, well, they just butt heads. Anyway, I mentioned this to her teacher. Asked if he felt she was ready to work (pay or volunteer) for an organisation that can facilitate someone with special needs such as Goodwill. He said, yes. He even talked to a teacher who deals with students transitioning fr HS into the world and she said in the summer, there is a program which is after summer school, paid, where the students go with a facilitator and paint the park trash cans. I am soooo excited about this. My baby is ready to take a taste of the " real world " . Guest guest
That is great! It will be so great for her to get out and earn some of her own money. It is great that they have things like that for our kids to do. I grew up in your neck of the woods Emma, in Racine actually. Sure do miss the pizza and kringle!!
