The key is that you should have your Vitamin D levels monitored

regularly - that's what Mercola did and made him think that what

happened with him happens to everyone. I take cod liver oil year

round and do not have toxic levels of vitamin D at all (I have slight

above normal, which my PCP thinks is good given that my bone density

is on the lower edge of normal). I think everyone absorbs at

different rates and some of us do need it year round even when we

live in the south/southwest AND are fair skinned - the supposed group

that shouldn't need vitamin D supplements in the summer at all. And,

I think those of us that are taking CSM have an increased need since

the CSM is known to also bind your fat soluble vitamins.
