Guest guest
Robin, I experienced this with dry saunas and infrared saunas. I've had issues w/sweating since contracting lyme & co's, I feel my detox pathways were blocked. I'd go in the sauna's for 20 - 30+ min's and come out as dry as when I went in; everyone else was drenched. I upped my detoxing methods; I use the small rebounder, I dry brush (towards your heart), I increase/decrease (hot/cold) the water temp. in the shower rapidly for a series of 4 cycles, the cold is really cold (don't go too hot)! lol I added in bentonite clay, pectin, glucomann sp?, flax seed, physillium, milk thistle (I rotate them) I try to eat as gluten/dairy free as much as possible, and try to do some walking, etc. for exercise. I noticed this Summer for the first time in years I was sweating, I was doing some yard work and it was pouring off of me! From: goldenmain517@... Drink plenty of water and electrolytes. Have you considered a binder such as clay or chlorella before you go into the sauna?Try some gentle skin brushing before your sauna and don't stay too long in the sauna if you are a beginner...work your way up....and remember electrolytes along with the water...I drink coconut water, Best, On Wed, Nov 9, 2011 at 8:45 AM, Robin Little wrote: Hay gang Hope someone can shed some light on this problem I'm having with not sweating in the sauna. The weather has cooled down lately, but even before that the sweat was getting less and less. I drink lots of water. What should I do, bundle up in warm clothes while in the sauna? Any suggestions or theories about what is causing this are welcome. I get my Doug coil soon and am worried that if I can't sweat I will have a hard time detoxing. The weather is here, wish you were lovely, Love Robin Little Any U.S. tax advice contained in the body of this e-mail was not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used, by the recipient for the purpose of avoiding penalties that may be imposed under the Internal Revenue Code or applicable state or local tax law provisions. ________________________________________________________________________ The information contained in this message may be privileged and confidential and protected from disclosure.
