I pray that your husband's job is secure so that you will not have those worries to contend with. Good to hear from you.
Guest guest
Thea - Welcome Back! Reading your post humbles me a bit and makes me realize that next to all of those thousands of families in New York, that we are very, very lucky indeed. Bomb Threats? Geez... I was really hoping that the majority of the country would learn their lesson from this. I guess not. I wish you and your family well and that people realize we are all one, no matter what color, race or religion. Hope the kids settle into school quickly. Penny :-)
Guest guest
You've been missed, Thea. I imagine it must be really hard if you live in NYC. It seems odd to me just because I used to live there and it is all familiar to me. (So is the Pentagon; my father worked there in the 1960's and I can remember going there to visit his office before most of the people on this list were even conceived). I am sorry that things are awkward for your husband. It is very unfair for people to make such judgments, but they do, as we all know. Bangladesh, huh? Pretty interesting. How did you meet? Guest guest
- Penny, Thanks. Hope you and yours are well also. I feel very lucky indeed, all those poor children who lost parents. I think I feel closer to my kids than before. Guest guest
-salli, I missed everyone here too. Thats interesting your father worked in the pentagon. I was probably conceived around the time you went to visit. Lol. My husband has been in the US for twenty years. We met in art school. I used to laugh a lot, and he found that attractive. I just thought he was attractive period. He also sees himself as very " americanized " , so he doesnt like to see himself as different. In fact, he made sure he put out the flag that he bought several years ago, it was probably the biggest one in the store.
