so yesterday I hit  yet another snafu that just sent me over the edge at 6 pm  ( just another onemore thing to do)Xr requires certain elements  of information on a mri order  I  had created a template with these- dx   meds allergeis name dob my signature etc Took a little  time

What I cannot know is that when the order gets to xray it may be on more than one page- they are getting paper. Not visible to me  in the emr. Then NAme and DOB and signature are on separate pages for  xray. I understand this  matters, I cannot fix  yet

do I put my name and the  dob  a nd signature   several times on a document so it is on every page  when it prints? this would be odd looking int he emr.. I have alway included name and dob and my name on every note but the PAGES as they print out somewhere are an unknown to me  I called support and he is workingon it but  yesterday it meant yet another re -do

Ideas? I am always having to do one more  work around!I admit this following on a difficult case wherein I called radiologist who helped but then told me how HE cannot find a pcp to go   see( right. I wonder why)... and then the patient needs T 9 and L 1 and l3 looked at  and tech called back and  says oh no not allowed! she   needs two scans ordered

To which I said I will not order and support  the cost of 2 mri scans looking at unnecessary body parts  I cannot  belive you cannot tell that  tube where to direct its rays  Called radiologist again who says yep i will tell her

an hr shot with all this.PLease send hair replacement I have torn  Sned tissues also. sob-- PATIENTS-please remember  that email may not be entirely secure, and that Email is part of the medical  record and is placed into your  chart ( be careful what you say!)
