Guest guest
Thanks everybody. Grace, yes she had a friend, I bought 2 sisters. Rats are very social animals and need to be in at least pairs, so I will have to find Polaris a buddy soon. (She is dark grey with a star of white on her chest. We call her Polli.) -Sara. wife to Matt SAHM to nurslings Mikey, 9/14/99, autistic spectrum? and Gabe, born at home 5/17/01, GERD http://home.earthlink.net/~thebyks > Re: My rat died. > > > Sorry to hear about Comet, Sara. > Was Comet your only rat pet, or did she have a friend? > > Hope you feel better. > > > Grace > > My rat died. > > > > Do you remember that I got a rat? Guest guest
Sara I am sorry about your rat. Lori My rat died. Do you remember that I got a rat? Two, actually...to be my hobby when taking Agility w/Star didn't work out. One of them died today. She was not even 4 months old yet. My vet thought she had a birth defect of her liver shunt so her liver could not support her past a certain size. Whatever it was, it was definitely a birth defect & nothing could be done about it. She had a peaceful end. She just went to sleep and did not wake up. Her name was Comet becvause she had a stripe down her back that looked like a comet's tail. She was very sweet and just liked to sit on my shoulder and make happy noises in my ear and be cuddled. -Sara. wife to Matt SAHM to nurslings Mikey, 9/14/99, autistic spectrum? and Gabe, born at home 5/17/01, GERD http://home.earthlink.net/~thebyks
