pantothenic acid (B5) and l-tyrosine is that right?

I believe that 90% of our vitamin C needs go straight to the adrenals.

Oh, you're right - I forgot about vitamin C, do you know how much

wee need to take?

Dr Peatfield recommends 4 mg per day.

You could say the needs varies from person to person depending on how much

is need to reach bowel tolerance.

With me I can go very high indeed, in the 30 grams area and still not reach

bowel tolerance so you would have to experiment if you wanted to take this

route.

Yes that is so true, isn't it?

On Val's advice earlier today, I have upped my salt to rough equivalent of 1

1/2 grams, teaspoon and a half.

I am getting round to salting my food, the Celtic salt I have is very large

grain but I am awaiting an elecric grinder from EBay and will soon be salting

everything I can.

There may have been a finer salt available but this is my first lot and I

grabbed the first Celtic salt I saw.

It is said to be good and I don't know if you need it with Armour. Not sure.

I used to take DLPA which tyrosine converts to, or is the vice versa? Sorry,

not is good shape at all today. I think you need to be careful if BP is high

with this.

How much sea salt do you take? I have a drink several times a day

with sea salt in it so I get one and a half teaspoons just from that

not including salting my food. Do you take more than just with food

as well?

Me again,

I take 5000mg of Now brand vitamin C with bioflavinoids. I take it

spread out through the day and the last one is at night before bed. It

has helped me an enormous amount. I can tell the difference in my

energy level already. I am thinking of taking more. They say in the

Adrenal Fatigue book that you should have 1/2 the amount of

bioflaviniods as you have vitamin C. The Now brand is timed released

and has 1000mg C and 500mg of the bio's. I take it at about 2:00 in

the afternoon and it really helps fight off that 3-4:00 slump.

This sentence was incomplete, I meant to say I thought tyrosine was

for adrenal support.

wow, that's very intersting especially that it hels thru the aft

slump. I didn't know we need half the bioflavinoids as C, good to know.

OK, so I'm taking vitamin C and sea salt, good to have the reminder

that they're important for the adrenals. What about pantothenic

acid? I always heard that was helpful for adrenals. Is there

anything else I'm missing? Thanks.

And you also need to take into consideration that many hypo's are

constipated, so that would alter your " bowel tolerance " as well.

B5 (Panthotenic Acid) - yes I have read we need a minimum of 550 mg a day.

Some take three times that I believe.
