Guest guest
There are no bad things No need to wonder if you had impact on the direction Lie down, will you? -- Can we ever do other that what we've done? I've been kinda pondering that a bit lately. Like today I was really tired, and told kitchen head that I was going to go lay down. He just smiled and said 'ok.' He knew I've been tired. I felt a little guilty, not sure why. But what do you think? Or does say something about it? Can I do anything other than what I've done? Do I have free will? Or is the 'IS' doing all this? Sometimes I've done something (good or bad) and later wondered if I'd had an impact on the direction that person will take in the future. Anyway, since all is just the 'IS' when you respond, actually it'll be the 'IS' responding back to itself. I'm/the 'IS' is getting a headache now from too much thinking. Guest guest
Daily, Why do you think about sex all the time? Funny... When I asked you to keep me company I was hoping that you would keep on doing what you already do: Be my friend! Guest guest
Dear T, Wow, you are on a roll today! It reminded me of saying (Loosely remembered) " There is no evil, there never has been and never will be anything evil. " And then she said, " But if there is, please bring it to me so I can see something that is real. " Love, Steve D. > > There are no bad things > No need to wonder if you had impact on the direction > > Lie down, will you? > > -- Can we ever do other that what we've done? > > I've been kinda pondering that a bit lately. > > Like today I was really tired, and told kitchen head that I was going > to go lay down. Guest guest
Do I have free will? Or is the 'IS' doing all this? *****Another thing to consider: what is this " I " that is referenced? Some people take " I " and " me " to be ongoing things that persist over time, perhaps akin to the notion of a Christian " soul. " If it is found (by no one) that there is no " I, " then the question of " free will " becomes moot since that presupposes an ongoing entity (person) who has the attribution of " a free will. " Sometimes I've done something (good or bad) and later wondered if I'd had an impact on the direction that person will take in the future. *****And, if it is discovered that there is no " I " then there is no " you " to have done something (good or bad). Obviously things appear to have happened. But there is no " you " who did them. Consider the words attributed to Buddha: Actions happen. Deeds are done. But there is no individual doer, thereof. Guest guest
DEAR T, Yes, I see how has had an affect on your perception. Thank you for asking if I can keep you company in the meanwhile. I am flattered that you would ask but no, I am taken. My sweet wife, Gail might not approve and I do not feel like asking her permission. Guest guest
Dear T, Wow, your clarity since being with is simply amazing. No need to be sorry for being confused. Evidently, confused is what we are, until we aren't.
