The Coalition of Behavioral Health Services/The Partnership for a Drug-Free Spring Branch is again having the program that we sponsor called Operation Medicine Cabinet. Attached is the flyer in English and in Spanish. I am hoping that you will distribute this flyer to as many work associates, friends, and clients as you can.

Operation Medicine Cabinet is a pharmaceutical take-back of medications – over-the-counter and/or prescription. These are medications that at no longer used or that are expired. All people who have meds that fit this description are encouraged to take them to the HEB Bunker Hill and turn them over to the Constables that will be taking the deliveries. At the end of our time outside of HEB that day, the Constables will take the drugs to the HPD Crime Lab where they will be incinerated.

People are now being encouraged to not flush them or put them in the trash. It is bad for our water systems and landfills, and most of all, we want to make sure that our youth do not have an opportunity to take drugs that are not prescribed to them.

Please see the attached flyers for information that can be forwarded, copied, or any other means you would like to use to spread the word. I send this to my personal distribution list, church, police depts., anywhere that I think people will benefit by knowing, and I hope you will, too. Please contact me if you have questions or need additional information.

Thank you,

Kay Crockett
