Guest guest
Hi ,Trying to type with a bandage seems to muddle my mind. Yes, it's Dr. 's! I hope everyone who needs to know reads this correction. Sorry.Léna Hey LenaDid you mean Dr miller's holly tea? I am about to try this and just curious if Marc likes another tea now or just a typo:)Thanks Steelh c The harder you work the luckier you get! To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Tuesday, November 8, 2011 7:20 PMSubject: Re: OT: Essiac Tea Thanks Steve,We're all in this together: a family of Lymie lab-rats!At the moment, I've just introduced chia seed meal to my smoothies in the a.m. so will wait on the tea for a little. Also taking Naproxen for the trigger-finger surgery, so that's a variable I'd like behind me. I try to only have one new thing going at a time.I've got the Caisse's Essiac® 4-herb liquid, which should be an easy intro in the early days of our trip (think we're leaving in about 2 weeks) then, after using that up, I plan to make the tea from the dry herbs I've ordered from Mountain Rose. And In December, all things being equal, will try Dr. Bill's Holy tea, which sounds very interesting. Marc Fett over at Lymestrategies has spoken highly of that for really cleaning/healing the gut. It's always onward and upward around here. One small useful note: yesterday, eager make sure that no sensory nerve damage had occurred during my trigger-finger surgery on my thumb, (it was totally numb for many hours afterward,) I put some DMSO on the exposed part of the thumb and within FIVE seconds, feeling returned to that spot. It had helped clear the cells of the anesthetic that fast. Neat huh?Be well,Léna Hi Lena,I would like to hear how it works for you. I have always appreciated your comments on lyme issues and have learned a lot from you. Good luck!Steve"One person can make a difference." Hi Steve,Thanks for this input. I'm about to start essiac, so this is helpful.Be well,Léna Hi Jim, This Essiac Tea is powerful stuff. I can tell you that I've never had such a strong reaction after drinking a cup of herbal tea. I had both a herxing response and a detox response. I felt pretty good two or three days later. When I tried drinking a cup of this tea two days in a row, it was too much. My herxing and/or detox reaction was too great. I'm thinking of experimenting with it every three or four days to see how it goes. There is something to it. I'm sure everyone's response will be different. I've had lyme for over 16 years so I still have a high bacterial load. Steve "One person can make a difference."
