I like the bracelet and the anklet idea - if it is the same as the bracelet

only bigger. - What would the Mosaic DS look like - what color stones and

what adorments? How much? and what portion would IMDSA get?

Bracelets come in 3 sizes: 6 3/4, 7 1/4 7 3/4 (7 1/4 is average)

Package includes bracelet & information card(info about IMDSA w/bracelet

attached to card)

Suggested selling price is $25-35. Bracelets have been appraised at $65

IMDSA's cost of the bracelet is $20. So, counting shipping we would have to

charge close to $30 to make it worth while.

We would have to come up with something creative to make it reflect MDS. I

have no idea how to do that, but if we decide to do it, I am sure all of the

creative minds out there can come up with something!

Hi Everyone,

I was contacted by a woman who designs some very pretty awareness bracelets

for various genetic disorders. I am not a big bracelet person, so I am not a

good judge on if this is something that someone would want.

These are not the typical silicone bracelets. They are very pretty and have

pearl and colored stones. She can design the bracelets to specifically reflect

mosaic Down syndrome. She sent me a sample and it is very good quality.

Please look at this web site with a Down syndrome bracelet and see what you

all think. This would be a good fundraiser for IMDSA if enough people would be

interested in purchasing them, and it may be a good keepsake for families.

After you look at the bracelet, please email me and let me know what you

think.

Thanks!

Are there any up front costs? Do we have to commit to a certain no. of

bracelets?

The bracelet doesn't excite me, but I don't have a feel for how others

would react.

Could the 21 be a mosaic 21 to denot Mosaic DS?? This is not to say that I am

overly excited about an MDS bracelet, but I am not much of a jewlery wearer at

this time. Also, I am not into advertising that loudly that my child has MDS.
