Drug Shortage Dangers

Hello Everyone,

Many of you are probably aware of the unprecedented number of drug shortages

this year, especially if any of you pick up hospital shifts. This directly

impacts my environment in a hospital pharmacy.

I've attached a link to a recent ISMP alert about the errors that these

shortages are causing, up to and including patient death.

I just feel that all healthcare providers should read this. It's more than just

a little terrifying.
