Guest guest
Liquid Nystatin from regular pharmacies is made with sugar which makes no sense since yeast feeds on sugar. Compounded nystatin without sugar works better. We've been using antifingals off & on for about 3 years. Hi My son recently had a poop test done which states he has a moderate yeast infection, i took him to the doctors today and got a prescription for a 30ml bottle of nystatin, he has to take 1ml 4 times a day so it will only last 7 and a half days, i asked if i could have a repeat and they basically said no. I just wondered if any of you had experience using nystatin and how long you used it for and how did you get more from the doctor.

Guest guest
When my son was younger, he was on it for years. Had a script from his DAN! doc. Nystatin is pretty benign. Guest guest
Hello, I just wanted to tell you about our particular experience. If I had to do it all over again, I would never start with antifungals. To me, they ended up being a " vicious cycle, " and led to even more problems. I was a hardcore believer in them because initially, we saw SUCH amazing improvements. I was thrilled. However, the improvements were always short-term. We had to keep going to stronger antifungals (Difulcan, Sporanox....Nizoral was ineffective) and then, my son developed Clostridia. What our DAN doctor told us (Dr. Rossignol) is that yeast and clostridia have an ongoing battle in his gut and one feeds the other...or something to that effect. The point is, he was taking huge doses of antifungals and getting nowhere. It just wasn't worth it. I also should add that he wasn't eating any refined sugar and very little fruit, so it's not like I was doing anything to perpetuate the yeast. His Clostridia was getting worse and worse (according to tests), even though he was on Culturelle (he was allergic to Flagyl and we didn't want to continue giving him anymore drugs!). What has helped the most (so far) with the yeast has been a new journey and that is sequential homeopathy. In one month, they have gotten his yeast levels to the same point they were at on high doses of Spornaox! I can't say that it's all gone, but I can tell by his tongue, by his behavior and by his sensory perception, how well he's doing with yeast. If you're interested, you can contact me by email and I'll tell you more about it. I just know that I wasted a year doing something that was not a long term solution. However, for many kids, it works great, so please don't think I'm commenting on anyone but my son.

Guest guest
Hello- Would you mind sharing which sequential homeopath you take your child to? Guest guest
So, what is the solution? Use antifungals and antibiotics at the same time???? What about antivirals as well? I think my son developed Yeast due to the Methyl B12 (is that possible?)
Guest guest
Sorry! I've been having a very busy weekend. The sequential homeopathy place we go to is called Homeopathy Center of Houston. It is at www.homeopathyhouston.com (I think). I think they're amazing and are doing amazing work. I think they have about 40 kids that they have recovered. I would say that many of those kids have been non- responders to many other treatments. I really hope people will go to them because I would like for ALL of our children to recover. I pray for everyone and wish you all good health and recovery. Irene
Guest guest
I forgot to add that at Homeopathy Center of Houston (HCH), they have you prepare a timeline of how your child was injured in every way possible: vaccines, illneses, traumas of any kind, etc. Then, they work backwards to " clear " each one. This is a slow process, but is very effective for many (but not all). I also would like to mention that they base their attempts to help our kids by using scientific research conducted by or provided by the DAN doctors. Thus, they clear yeast, they detoxify metals like Mercury, they help out with viral issues, etc.....but, they do it naturally. No drugs. No chelators. In fact, I had to stop GSE and Caprillic acid. Even though they are good and natural, they are harsh on their delicate bodies. I really wanted to post this just to help others. I know that when I started this journey, I wouldn't have been open to something like this at all. I was DAN all the way. However, I wasn't seeing the results I wanted to see and it didn't feel right to give all those drugs to a child who was bad with detoxifying. Take care, Irene
Guest guest
We have only started all the remedies 3 weeks ago. It took only 2 weeks to see reactions, but it was hard to tell how he was until recently, because he got so sick (detox). Now, I can clearly see the improvements. I have spoken to (on our support group, which is for clients only) a few parents who have fully recovered their kids and many others who have seen tremendous gains but still have a way to go. I am doing phone consults only, because we live in California. It is my dream to one day go and thank them in person for recovering my son. That would be the trip of a lifetime!
