- thank you for responding!

I have no idea what is going on in this crazy body of mine. My blood pressure

is fluctuating from 165/95 down to 124/70. All my doctor said was she would

see me in six months - yeah right - don't hold your breath. I have an

appointment with a new doctor in August. Hope she LISTENS to me. I know I need a

doctor

to oversee all the stuff I am doing to my body and all that is going on. I

lay in bed at night wondering if I am just going to lay there an die.

I don't have a bp machine but maybe I should get one. I've been just checking

it at whatever pharmacy I happen to be near - walgreen's, osco, etc. I am due

to have my cholesterol checked again since it was doing the same thing last

year - shooting up and up and up. Of course my stupid doctor just said - I'll

see you in six months. I took her all the stuff about my hair analysis and my

adrenal fatigue, told her that it might be causing all these problems and that

was her response. I obviously am hunting for yet another doctor. It is so

exhausting just thinking about starting over again! It is like potty-training a

two-year-old all over again

no - i have not used any sea salt or whole unrefined salt. I think it is

because of the HC helping my body to start functioning properly once again. At

least that is my theory.

I really feel sea salt is a very important thing to take with adrenal

if I havre asked this already, head like jelly!

I attribute taking sea salt when I was so sick to helping in lowering my

BP! I can never find the article I read about this now, but I did read

that low sodium which is almost always present in adrenal fatigue, will

case the body to retain fluids which in turn raises BP. I started sea

salt with BP at 248/142... I now stay around 128/72, well it bounces

higher in the heat, but most the time it is behaving now.

Are you still on meds Val? I am having trouble with arrhythmias and palps

from the meds but the GP seems to think that this is par for the course.......

Well thjat is encouraging. What a role model you are girl!

The GP told me I was be on BP meds for life.

She does not know I am on h/c or Armour. Can I ask you Val if you think it

is important for her to know this because of the BP?

I am not keen to tell her to be honest because I know she will go into an

uproar but I am being nagged.....

Actually most doctors have NO CLUE about thyroid and BP being connected.

I cannot see any advantage to me in telling the GP. Just thought you might

see something I did not.

I ws put on Atenonol before I was diagnosed hypoT. I spent the first month

bedridden from it.

The first month was the last month.

I am back on Dyazide as it shot up when I ran out of T3 meds and tried

the time released stuff, but i will be tapering off that soon. The

fluid retentoin that I got from that is almost gone. I was off them all for

Actually most doctors have NO CLUE about thyroid and BP being connected. Mine

sure didn't! And the ones that O think there is a connection thing HYPER causes

high blood pressure. Now iam not sure if it does also but I kNOW hypo does. My

doctors had me on Atenolol and that is what FINALLY almost killed me. My hypo

was so bad then It wouldn't have taken much to put me down for the count. Spo

while I am sure Atenolol is a great blood pressure med, it is NOT for us with

hypothyroidism.

I don't think those BP machines are very accurate at pharmacies. I did a

reading at one that said it was very high, the next day at the docs done by a

nurse, it was normal.

BP does vary during the course of the day.

I broke down and bought my own machine. My bp was 127/66 in the pharmacy. I

just took it and it is 113/62. Obviously my high blood pressure is being

corrected with the HC. Unbelievable! I am not on any medication for it, and it

was

155/95 twice at one doctor's, and 165/95 at another doctor's, just within a

week of each other. This was just 4 months ago. I can't wait to get my

cholesterol tested again. It had also gone very high and they were talking about

medication for that also.

all I know is that I already feel like a new person. I know I have so far to

go, but it is amazing to actually feel like moving from my chair once in

awhile. My temps are still in the 96.4 - 97.0 range, and of course the

constipation

is such a problem. Some of the achiness and joint pain has gotten a little

better. The white spots have not changed at all. My migraines are a little

better - for the first time since I was 14, I think.

In other words, you and a couple of others on these boards have really saved

my life. I really think I was dying. It will be interesting in a few months

for me to do the saliva test again and see where I land. I am sure it will be

better than stage 7, that is for sure!
