Guest guest
Robin, this is wonderful news!! Your fine efforts at control ... the care of your doctor ... and your excellent record-keeping ... It's all paying off! I must ask ... have you cut your carbohydrate intake to help make this all possible? We have type 1's in the low-carbing diabetics' group that really like the excellent control that eating style provides. Guest guest
Yes, Robin, what you say below is absolutely true...all the more reason to keep at it. I'm so glad things have mellowed out for you. You didn't say what made the big change possible but I'm assuming it was low carbing since you're on this list. So I wish you well and just keep plugging away. We can never beat this disease, but at least we can hold it at bay with proper care! So don't be discouraged...sometimes it's one step forward, two steps backwards. And sometimes the other way around. Take care, Vicki In a message dated 99-10-08 21:30:26 EDT, you write: << It seems like every time I get a handle on this disease--- I get knocked back to square one. So I write this with some reserve for tomorrow this all may change. >>
