Any chance you can work in a planned Free Day about once per month or

even every 6 weeks??? Not a total free-for-all, but just a day where

you can (finally) relax a little bit? You have been so crazy-strict

for a really long time, maybe you need a break psychologically.

Not like a tiny bag of M & Ms are going to kill you ;) but a planned

Free Day sure would go a long way toward satisfying cravings without

all the guilt. Plus, sometimes after a long time of calorie-

restriction, a carb " re-feed " can sort of kick you off a plateau.

Just an idea.

Cheers,

Jen B.

town I bought and inhaled in 30 seconds a small, 59 cent bag of

M & M's. They were good. *sigh* I know I shouldn't have done it, but

it was either that or a Snickers bar. Figured less damage with the

M & M's. Anyway, figured I " d better confess to someone, since I threw

the empty package away before Spouse could find it.

We went to a Greek restaurant last night for a friend's birthday and

I tried to be good, i didn't eat the bread and I ordered grilled

chicken breast from their " healthsmart " section but the food took a

little longer than normal so the manager came out and gave everyone

at the table free baklava for dessert and i ate it :( It was good

though.

I think the forces are conspiring against me, because I am going out

to a good restaurant for a client lunch today too - but I am

planning on trying to find the healthiest thing on the menu. At

least since it is lunch the menu should have some light fare.

We are supposed to go out tomorrow night with a group too to dinner -

I was going to have my free meal (which includes dessert) then but

since I had the baklava last night, I guess I will skip the dessert

tomorrow night. We are going to one of those japanese steak houses,

so I should be able to keep it pretty healthy as long as I skip the

fried rice, alcohol, and as previously mentioned, dessert.

I swear I don't normally eat out this much.

Although on one hand I obviously love going out to eat, on the other

hand, going out to restaurants really kills the diet b/c it is

pretty much impossible to find something as healthy at a restaurant

as what I could make at home.
