Web based calendar program for scheduling drug reps

Does anyone use or know of a web based calendar

program that lets drug reps self schedule their visits so that the staff isn’t

busy trying to work this out with them. I noticed one program at

repconnect.com that cost about $24 per month but also noticed that the major

drug companies have a “do not use policy” for this web site.

With four solo practices in our building the

unexpected arrival of these drug reps in bunches can occasionally put a strain

on our available parking spaces for patients.

Aside from a no drug rep policy, any other ideas

besides a web based self scheduling approach?

You could try Supersaas. We use it

for my dog club. If you have fewer than 100 “events”

(appointments), it is free to use. The drug reps can schedule

themselves. You can even have a form that they have to fill out with

their contact information.

Or better yet, do what we do and don’t

let them in the door. All of the drug reps in town know that we don’t

see them. They are turned away at the front desk. If you go to

Steve’s bio on our website, there is a link explaining why we don’t

“do the drug rep thing.”
