Guest guest
I just had the biggest emotional roller coaster. I took Mitchel to school because he was so crabby I couldn't get him dressed or eat. Finally got him all set, and he was in a better mood. When we got there 4 (yes FOUR) boys came to the fence to greet him, they were yelling his name. His aide (who's the recess monitor) looked at me and smiled. It was so GREAT to see this. To see kids seeking him out. Then they pointed back to their ball and the game they were playing and ran back over there. Of course Mitchel just stood there staring off into space. By himself. Then he paced a second, and stood there by himself. It was sad. Here the boys were wanting to play with him. And he just stands there. I didn't realize it, but I just sat in my car watching him, and I started to cry. I get so excited cause he's doing more, and then when I see him with other kids his own age it really hits me. I cried the whole way to work.
