Guest guest
Well, , I procrastinated WAY too long on getting med ID jewelry of some kind. WAY too long, because all of it is stainless steel or silver, which I won't wear, or EXPENSIVE gold. I know that you make mostly silver stuff, and that's all that I've seen on your ebay site--but thought there might be someone else out there like me who'd wear it if it looked better--so it wasn't entirely a shameless plug. It was largely intended as a lifesaver! I LOVE my bracelet! So, I'll WEAR it. I hope to never need it, but I'm glad I've got it. looks hot in his necklace! Guest guest
Well I will be making some more medical alerts in copper now that I have the basics to make it, so if anyone needs one, I do requests too. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I guess this is an ignorant question, but do our meds (armour and isocort) require med ID notification? I understand if you are diabetic or are allergic to penicillin, needing the bracelet, but now I'm worried. --------------------------------- Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
Guest guest
Sorry to be redundant and or/clueless... but... what exactly should the bracelet say??? I guess because I have several illness' that is why I wanted to know... Thank you... Pamela Deborah Jacques wrote: Well, , I procrastinated WAY too long on getting med ID jewelry of some kind. Guest guest
You can get tags/charms that are indicative of what your medical condition is (labeled as such) or you can have the back of them engraved with your condition and meds, such as for a diabetic what type of insulin is used. And the ones I get can't be engraved. I do have some copper ID bands just like an ID bracelet that can be engraved though. But they have no medical insignia to alert emergency personel thta it is a medical bracelet, th charms work well for that. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I'll check the source where I got my daughter's bracelet from and see if they list adrenal fatigue. Guest guest
I just found a co. that makes the " old school " looking medical bracelets. Adrenal insufficiency was actually listed on their scroll down list as a choice!!! WOW!!! Guest guest
Val, Is it a good idea to wear a medical alert if you are on HC? If so, I'd like to order a bracelet from you. Let me know how much and I'll send you a check or cc info or whatever you want. Thanks! Carolyn J

Guest guest
Natural Thyroid Hormone ADRENALS. Not to detract from anyone's livelihood here on the list, of course, but there is another type of med id availablefor those who need something a 'little extra. " It's called the SOS Talisman and it's a silver/stainless steel/gold waterproof locket-type capsule that is worn around the neck or on the wrist. It contains a long strip of waterproof paper on which you write your medical conditions/meds/doctor name/ next of kin/pastor's name, etc. It screws shut very nicely. Mine arrived just this week. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong style so I have to go through the return process. They're made in Switzerland and are imported from England. www.sostalisman.com The quality is very good, but you might want to put it on a beefier chain or rubber/leather thong. I offer this information just in case there is anyone else like me, who has WAY too much emrgency info for an engraveable bracelet, or who frequently goes around without a purse/pocketbook with a medical card in it. NOTE: There is even enough room on the strip of paper to write " DO NOT ADMINSTER ANY THYROID MED BUT ARMOUR OR I'LL SUE YOU. " And I would. Cheers, Jewel
Guest guest
I saw those--and some that look like an envelope--and a few others that were similar. The problem with all of them, for me, is that they're stainless steel. Silver-colored. I know it's dumb, but I just don't like that color on me and won't wear it. I saw some nice gold lockets, too, but they're WAY too expensive!!!! I know, shame on me. I can write your statement on my wallet card, though! heheheheehhe Deborah Carlsberg wrote: > Natural Thyroid Hormone ADRENALS. > > Not to detract from anyone's livelihood here on the list, of course, > but there is another type of med id availablefor those who need > something a 'little extra.
