Guest guest
I had Salmon (on the Foreman), rice, and spinach for dinner tonight. It was good, but I am soooo much craving something sweet. It happens after *every* meal. (I have been practicing following the meal and exercise plan and will be starting my 12 weeks on monday 1/3.) But after I have my nutritious meal I always crave something sweet. Usually I have a lifesaver or some gum, but will that screw up everything? Candy cane? Do you guys have any advice for me? Thanks, JIm M
Guest guest
Jim, A life saver... No! You will not screw up your diet with a lifesaver. ...A 3 pound candy cane may be a different story! The concept here is to find the balance with something that you can enjoy and live with for the rest of your life. This is not supposed to be a fad " diet " , but a lifestyle change. Find what your body needs and satisfy your needs. ...Within reason, of course. Your nutrition, however, is missing the extra portion of carbs which may be triggering your hunger. If you added some dirty rice to the Salmon, maybe your carb crave would be no longer. I find that balancing the protein, carb and fat to be the right mix in feeling satisfied. ...Next best thing to my wife and wine. Enjoy and happy fitness. Guest guest
, go get some sugar-free jello, the whole box is a whopping 40 calories, I always keep some made for those times when I just " need " either a sweet or food during a cutting phase.
