WE ARE OFFERING GENEROUS SCHOLARSHIPS TO YOUR PATIENTS TO OFFSET THE COST: Reconnect With Food Intensive Support Program Prazamana Foundation's Intensive, Week-long day support program, for individuals who live near and far, led by Beverly Price, Registered Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist & Registered Yoga Teacher-- along with support staff including psychologists and social workers For individuals interested in exploring issues related to food, body image, and emotions We invite you to help you express yourself in our mind-body creative arts experiential support program for eating disorder/addiction recovery By participating in this dynamic, week-long program, you will learn how to: a.. Discover roots and behaviors through creative experientials b.. Practice mindfulness c.. Shift mental and emotional patterning d.. Connect with others and yourself e.. Heal negative body image and foster self- acceptance f.. Learn how to achieve balance in your life Beverly Price is a registered dietitian, exercise physiologist and registered yoga teacher who specializes in the treatment of anorexia and bulimia nervosa, binge and compulsive eating along with adult, adolescent and childhood weight management. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from Michigan State University, emphasizing the Science of Human Nutrition and Medical Nutrition Therapy. She holds a Master's Degree in the Science of Human Movement from Wayne State University. Beverly has a private practice located in Bingham Farms and Royal Oak, Michigan where she blends conscious eating eating for mind, body and spirit along with yoga. Abrams Program runs Monday through Friday and is offered the following weeks in Spring/Summer 2006: May 8 - May 12 June 19 - June 23 July 24 - July 28 (Schedule subject to Modifications) Program Includes: a.. This is a week long program that runs five consecutive days and is offered each month. Programs are limited to 10 participants and are filled on a prepaid, firstcome first serve basis. Initial phone interview and pre-registration required. Lodging is available for out of area participants but is not included in the cost of the program. Cost: $1,575 for entire program.
