Trish, hope you get over the bug real soon.

With my pinched nerve problem behind me (for good I hope), I will

today begin another 12-week cycle (call it a challenge if you want,

although I won't be entering the contest), based on a new set of

goals I wrote yesterday. Last time I managed to lose weight, lose

bodyfat percentage and gain strength a little.

Considering the upcoming holidays, I have chosen goals that

purposely take into account the likely eating binges. Since I do

NOT really want to lose any more weight, but would still like to get

my bodyfat percentage at or below 10%, I will work hard to gain

muscle mass. I am planning my caloric intake to be about 200 cal

above what I averaged during the last cycle and hope that with the

strength workouts I've plannend I can gain significant muscle.

Hopefully by restricting my cardio to the 20 min (last time I went

45 min) and eating enough I can have better success in the strength

department. By posting this I hope to motivate myself for the long

haul. I look forward to tackling this cycle and wish everyone else

the best of luck on their challenges, at whatever part they are in.
