Guest guest
Today I took all my records and films in to the transplant coordinator. While I was there I met a young mother of two year old twins who had gotton Hep C from a blood transfusion she received during a very hard labor. I cryed and she cryed and we talked. Then a woman who had gotten her transplant came in. It was almost more than I could handle in one day. She looked very strong/very much in tune with her faith. She told me to hang in there. Her sister gave me a hug and once again I thought I was going start bawling like a baby there in the waiting room. I was told that I would not need a liver transplant for some time. I mentioned the pain I still had from my last liver biopsy. He told me that some people have pain for several months after a liver biopsy because some of the nerves in the area have been irritated. I do not have any liver deterioration at this time. Only my large ducts are involved. He said I would not be listed. Iam still in the early stages of PSC. My love goes out to those of you who are suffering and in pain right now. Andi
