You could even take the receipt from the prescription where it shows your copay.

That way the doctor could see from the actual pharmacy what it is costing you,

since they never believe what we tell them.

I didnt even think of that. Someone also just told me that it is normal

for you to go every two weeks if your trying new meds to make sure they

work. I have only really been seeing this guy for about two months. I

have been going every two weeks. The first time he gave me some weak

5mg perc. I went back two weeks later, telling him that strength and

freuency did not work as i was still in alot of pain so he upped the

dose on one and changed the med on the other and i had to come back in

two weeks. Next visit i told him the perocet was making me very itchy,

feeling like i had bugs under my skin. He told me that was an allergic

reaction so changed my meds again to Oxycontin. I went back two weeks

later and told him that the dose and frequency again was working so he

added one more pill, making it three 10mg pills a day. So that might be

why i have been having to go every two weeks, because i keep getting

different meds. at first when i had the percs only, it was every three

weeks. Since he changed me to the oxycontin, it has been every two

weeks and i have to get drug tested every time. Is that normal?

He has nothing to base his opinion on and its just that, an opinion.

He seems like everyone else, because of my age, the pain cant be

legit. I know for a fact that i am not in any way addicted or even

dependent on the pain meds. He doesnt eevn give me much to take the

pain away. I get 30 10mg oxycontin ever two weeks, i'm supposed to

take two a day. most of the times, i still have some in the bottle

because i wont take them after a certain time of day cause they will

kepp me up all night so if its close to then, i'll just suck it up

and try to bear it.

He's not the only clown in town but this si the same treatment i have

goten from my obgyn who did my surgery and knew how babd the endo

was. He didnt think i was in pain even days after my surgery.

Everyone i have delt with treats me this way because of my age. I

just try to stay on his good side, not ask him for anything and do

what he wants. I think he knows that i am at his mercy and he can do

what he wants It just sucks. I have an appt on Thrus and if it doesnt

get better from here, i'm going to conside going elsewhere. i just

get sick of seeing doc after doc only to get the same response, as

i'm sure you all feel the same.

Sandi,

Since being diagnosised with Endometriosis in April, I have seen so

many OBGYN's, and fertility specialists that all say the same thing...

There's nothing more we can do for you but let the hormones run their

course, which is causing other symptoms cause they put me into a false

menopause, incuding bone and joint pain from bone loss, and they send

me home. I just assume sticking with what i got, cause everyone else

shares his opinion and he already knows my situation. its like taking

the best of the worst. haha
