Also she does a functional axis, how well your liver can excrete toxins, how effective the liver is in neutralising toxins, how well the liver can excrete the toxins, how well your gut is absorbing nutrients.this can tell if you have a leaky gut. She wants to see my hair analysis results I had done by Dr Kolb. Sorry to go on Sue

Guest guest
Hmmm. Thanks, . I didn't have any pain, but it sure did trigger my symptoms... VERY scary. Thank GOD i wasn't alone. Dr. Kolb came in there and helped me through it... On 6/10/06, Lamse <wannabe_proverbs31@...> wrote: , I had an aweful reaction to the " ion foot bath' also. Guest guest
. . . I'm sorry, I don't remember . . . were your implants silicone gel? . . . I'm wondering if there's a difference (sticky vs. non-sticky) with the foot pads between women who had silicone gel implants and those who had saline. The sticky stuff on my feel wouldn't come off with soap . . . it definitely wasn't water soluable. I needed something to melt the stuff! My massage therapist has never had implants . . . her feet weren't sticky. Hugs, Rogene

Guest guest
Sherry, I other word you are saying we have to talk a different tone and be calm and all this stuff. I was so calm and tried your approach that you are talking about. It never worked for me. It must be the part that is the whole problem here. It is all hush hush how implants make women sick so PS and other doctors can get rich off of one set of breast. Admit it Sherry doctors love it when we are sick, they laugh when we leave, saying well there some more money coming my way next month or next week, she will be back. My PS sent me to his golf buddy neuroligist, then he send me off to his other buddy. Sorry I lost respect here for most. This is ridiculous behavior, the whole world of women has the right to know the truth about breast implants. I have already myself warned women and they will not get them. Let's be told the truth before during and after implants. This would make me have more respect for doctors. Let's not let implanted women walk around feeling like they are going to die, then laugh at them, wait til it effects the brain and every organ in our bodies, laugh and give more medicine to cover up the illness more. Then refer to friends and brothers, then play some golf, cruise the beemer. Our children suffer from this, the women who pass this on by breast milk. The women to sick to care for there kids. Let's grow a heart over money and for once tell the truth. If I could speak out I would to anyone I am not ashamed I was lied to so bad by my FDA, Implant Manufacturer, and PS. Come one lets stop the lies and doctors are passing the medicines and buck here. My niece she is 24 found out her IUD Mirena was making her very sick, yes she has bio-toxin from her birth control. It was given to her when she breast fed her baby and the hormone medicine clearly states not to give while breast feeding. This is more lies. More crooked doctors. Now our GYN's are making our kids sick with birth control. Destroy a young lady and her child's life. Well there should be a lot of happy doctors out there with nice cars by now. She paid out thousands before she found a web site and women complaining of the same symptoms. Let's face it if is silicone it is not safe period. This device said, No side effects like she experienced. Do our doctors love this or what. Keeps food on there tables, while we starve. I think it is criminal and we should all go protest the FDA and White House for years if that is what it took. I will pack my bags right now. Guest guest
Sherry, I pray you get the implants out before 2007 if all possible. I don't mean to sound rude by no means. Sometimes you sound rude when you disagree with some people's true feelings. I am glad you had doctor's who cared about you. Maybe they did because you are a doctor? I wished I had a doctor as friends and co-workers. It is sad that you have ruptured implants and no way of getting them removed. My heart goes out to you on that subject that is for sure. I just wished you would agree that most if not all other women on this site are upset for going so long with infected, moldy, ruptured and bacteria in there implants. Would it be so hard for them to just say, Yes I have heard of this and you should consult your PS or a specialist if no luck with your PS. Would it be so hard when you go back to your PS around 30 times begging why don't I feel good since I got BA, that he would say maybe you have infection, mold, bacteria or rupture, this has happened before. It is hard for me to believe that a PS would not know the answers, we have to struggle go from doctor to doctor, get more sick running around wondering what is wrong with us. This is crazy when you lived that life, believe me I can relate with these women I was ran around. I only had implants for a little over a year, never sick before BA, then felt like I was dying. I will tell you just like I told inamed, not being rude, you can pull your lies and BS on other women who had implants for many years before getting sick, but you won't lie to me any longer I will be having them removed and thanks for nothing. I am sure the manufacturers have heard of this. Would it have been so hard for them to tell me something. I called them plenty for answers. NO, It was nope never heard of this before, do you honestly believe that Sherry. I do not because there is to many sick women for to long for them to lie to me. I do have common sense over here, I will give myself credit for that if nothing else. I am glad you are going to get explant, I just wish you would do it sooner if any way possible. I had to get my boyfriend to get a loan for me to get explant, this is going to be fun to pay for the next 5 years sick. I could have bought a car instead trust me I do need one. I won't mind this bill for the next 5 years because it is the best investment I ever made for myself. Just glad I didn't have a loan for the breast implants I paid a nice $5500.00 to get last year. This is insane for me to think I have around $40,000.00 in my breast implants that are sitting in a jar at Dr. Blais office and will take more money to pay him. I still need money for further medical treatment. I have no insurance and probably will never be allowed to get any, since I was just diagnoised. It's all called pre existing medical problem now. Oh wow what a price to pay for some implants that made me totally sick from 3 weeks out after surgery, but once again I never claimed to be a PS. I trusted a board certified skilled doctor of 30 years, to implant me and for a year of follow-up visits, when I followed-up with him, he laughed at me and dismissed me for that whole year. It will be OK you are fine, it's this, it's that. Then I go to another PS who tells me by looking at me you are infected, then she cuts me open and finds leaking, bacteria, mold, stuff floating in the implants. Sherry come on when you get those toxic bags removed, let me know how you feel about PS, breast implants, money and greed. I have to admit someone is eating pretty good off of me that last year. The buck stops here for me I am done. I only trust Dr. Kolb at this point, maybe someday God will send me a doctor in my area whom I can trust. For now I am still upset and sorry Sherry if I offend you because this is not directed at you, for you were never my physician. If you get well maybe you could open up a facility to treat women with implants. Maybe this will be your calling, if I was a physician I would do it. Dr. Kolb makes me just melt because you can feel that women's true love for her patients and she works late nights and has no life trying to save a women's life. This is what it's about, did we become a doctor to save lives, or to make lots of money. Donna
Guest guest
Sherry, I agree you have been through a lot, and that you have great reasons to be grateful and happy with many doctors. The questions were not rude. You come across as God's gift to medicine. People wonder why. Being a doctor does not always make you right. Many women may not have clear-cut symptoms that cannot be confused with other disorders. But, having been in this business since 1990, I clearly recognize a family of symptoms that are commonly reported by women. Some women had many problems prior to implants and some things cannot be separated. I, however, had no medical family history of the problems I had from implants. It was a clear cut case of going from being fairly well to being seriously ill. Three doctors did not think I would live through 1993 (they told me this years later). I was toxic from silicone dumped in my chest by a plastic surgeon who should have known better (denial). He would still deny it to this day. Your experience is different. You have reasons to be happy with your doctors. But please do not come on this line and act like the world's expert on how we should react, respond, feel or express ourselves. Lynda We have many doctors we love. We are happy with them also. Guest guest
You weren't deceived. They didn't know! Thus, they treated you appropriately for each symptom... they were unaware of anything systemic going on. Not great news but that's the way it is. This is the way knowledge of many syndromes evolve.... one symptom at a time. When they found your scleroderma, they didn't hide anything from you. They genuinely had no glue what was causing it. The ENT guy did what he is trained to do: look at your hearing problem. He had no clue that this was associated with implants - not would ANY ENT even today! They treated your symptoms and had no idea of the cause. Bad news: Sometimes, we repair bodies the way they repair cars, computers, electronics - trial and error. If this method fixes it, we know what was wrong. Steroids, antibiotics, pain killers, antihistamines and anti-inflammatories were all the correct choices for the treatment of scleroderma and hearing loss (that could have been caused by a sinusitus). These were correct remedies. Sorry, but these specialties are not taught to consider breast implants at this time. In ten years, I promise they will but they are not at this time. There was a time fresh in my memory when this lack of awareness was rampant about bird flu, about HIV and even about prostate and colon cancers. The lack of awareness is true - you're right: it's a monumentally important problem. But the notion that it's intentional, a cover-up, something being done to keep fancy cars and houses is patently absurd. Guest guest
Sherry, A sleep disorder goes with breast implants - and fibromyalgia. I never needed much sleep as a child or young adult. But after getting sick from breast implants, I couldn't sleep more than 3-4 hours a night. I thought I was getting by with it - but in truth, I wasn't. I was in far worse shape than I realized, until I had my implants out and started detoxing. . . Then gradually, I could look back and see that the limitations I slowly developed after implants slowly faded away. Now, even after 12 years of being explanted, the single medication I MUST take, is a sleep medication. I can go to sleep without it . . . I've taken myself off it a few times - but after a few weeks (or months), I decide that getting deep sleep is more important. What's so scary is the way my mind operates when I'm sleep deprived! . . . It's no wonder you found yourself in trouble with your companies! . . . I can't imagine how you could function! You are doing incredibly well, considering how long you've had your implants! . . . And, the fact that your amputated foot could be reattached with no remaining disability is incredible! You really had to work at that! I know you'll be greatly relieved when you can have your implants out! . . . I'm sure our detox methods sound hokey, compared to your training. However, left to our own devices, we've found some things that are working. We don't understand the science of it all . . but the results are what matter. I did find it interesting that one of our silent silicone sisters took a detox foot pad into her neurologist recently, only to learn that he had been using them himself!
