Hello ,

This is very destressing what your wife is going throught my heart goes to you two .

Insomnia was one of the first severe symptom of lyme toxicity I got long ago it ened up being then paralysis .

For neuro detox I have tryed everything. and for insomnia also .

The only thing I di dnot try yet is the cd i am waiting for it to come .

A former friend of mine with lyme too has only insomnia he tryed everythign too . here is what worked for me an dfo rhim but it give accoutumance so the idea is to switch from one drug ot th eother one ever 2 3 days not to get acoutumance to one . i tis not a good idea to not take medecine in thi smatter as depriving someone from sleep is deadly especially for lymees told me my dct .

the molecule is clonazepam it is very seldom used to sleep but it idoes make you sleep tak eth enumber of drops needed. thsi is the only one that worked for my friend

just when it is time to decrease ti has to be done drops by drops every other day going back to the previous dosage to trick th ebody tha the still get the hight amount .

Tartrate of Zolpidem they are pills .very powerfull also .

melatonine 10mg from life extension in gells or 5mg sublinguale losenges from KAL the othe rone do not owrk for me I tak eup to 50 mg some time it is not enought

the mag flakes oil on th eskin in th eevening helps a little bit .

For detox the Coffe E I do it just firs tthing in the morning what about reducing the amount of coffee so it does not gives her cramps . did you try to had chlorella and charcoal in the CE . See lena recipy fro low volume coffee aenema in the past posts.

For detox the cholestyramin edi dnot do the same job for me than the welchol . The cholestyramine doe snot take out of paralysis..... To my expeirnece welchol works cholestyramine does not with my hight load of

neurotoxicity.

I could nor mak eit either without the 2 colonics a week I have been doing for 2 years . Just recently I could drop one and go to one a week instead . I have found a book how to build your own colonic if you wish I post it here . Still it is somewhat expensive the parts around 1000 (instead of 6000. ) th ecolema is goo dtoo 250 but I di dnot find that it could really go to the bottom of the ascendant colon where there is stagnation of the toxines and it goes to the brain .they call this part the second brain .

If you can afford it I would definitly try 2 to 3 colonics a week for one month or two plus the welchol plus what you already do .

Finally Ozone is a detoxifyer by itself I have began to do the hears ozonation for detoxifying my brain I have the impression I think a littl ebit better . this said it is also a killer for bacterias and so on a rectal insuffaltion even very short , in the gut I get a huge herx .

Int he hears not just some improvement of my thinking . I tryed the ornithine that is supposed to absorb amonium i tidi dnot do a thing to me stil who knows may be ti will help you .

I will et you know abotu the cd if it works for me . the ozone injection makes a big difference close to as god as half a colonic .

May i insist in something . th ecolonic for me was a must . I beleive with adance neurotoxicity it is a must in fact I beleive that with adavanced toxicity one thing cannot do only piling up like i do will do and for me if I suppress one i fal right away back into misery so trying this then that is not a good approcah bu ttrying this plu sthat plus this and that and keeping doing for a while may be more often or more wuantity then at some point it began to work .

This is just my own experience I am not a dct

hi dj fantastic,i haven't written in in quite a long time, due to insomnia just as you describe. I've tried everything under the sun with almost no positive change in my sleep. No supplement (other than magnesium) makes a dent on this insomnia (most everything makes it muchmuch worse), which for me has been going on since the early 90's. I'm near dead because of it,and live in an absolute blurr. I feel as though I'm mostly existing in some other dimension, and once in a blue moon get enough sleep....5 hoursfeels like HEAVEN!!!!....to pop down into earth. What a strange world it is! I did finally get up the nerve to try coffee enemas, which I was scared to try because of extreme coffee sensitivity. They caused my gut to spasm even more than it usually is (like a boulder), and gave me lots of back painbecause of this spasming, so I have stopped these. It is challenging finding anything that my body can handle by

way of detox, but the things that do help are claywater and charcoal caps. I have these by my bed, and every time I get up to pee in the night I take more charcoal and clay. This is often helpful to give me a little more sleep. One recent thing that I believe may be helping me is Qi Gong. I've been checking out DVD's from the library, and found one that's fairly gentle, and I've been going through the routine most evenings. It seems to be really helping to open up my breathing, which is definitely part of the sleeping problem (I breathe very shallowly and haltingly, due to extreme spasming in my gut, neck, back etc). The DVD that I've been using is:

Qigong for Detox DVD with Francesco Garripoli and Daisy Lee. Oxygenating the body has always been a big help for me, and maybe can help your wife too. Deep breathing is such a basic way to detox, and for those of us who are too sensitive to handle most other supplements or therapies, deep breathing always comes up for me as one of those most important things I can do to improve vitality, and contribute to detoxing. Magnesium oil also helps, but no matter how much I douse myself with, the calming effects still do not last through the night, and I'm always nearly frozen in paralysis by around 2 or 3 in the morning. Has your wife tried magnesium? it might at least help her get a little rest, calm her spirit a bit. It does really help with that for me, and is the one supplement that has truly made a difference in my pain level. My heart goes out to your

wife, and you too!with much warmth,Suzy

I am looking for some help for my wife. She has been battling severe insomnia caused by neurotoixicity from Lyme for almost two years. She has tried every OTC option, Rxs, chinese herbs, acupuncture...you name it. And nothing has touched it what-so-ever. She recently had a brain map done and it showed signs of extreme toxicity in her brain. The doctor's suggestion was detox, detox, detox. For the past couple of months she has been doing daily coffee enemas (2 per day for the past 2 weeks), taking multiple detox drops (burbur, parsley, pinella, sparga), cholestyramine, daily detox baths (either epsom salts, hydrogen peroxide or apple cider vinegar) and has done 2 separate liver flushes (in the past 3 weeks)...and none of this has helped her sleep. On an "average" night she will get 1-3 broken hours of sleep - and that only happens about 3 nights a week. On the other 4 nights she will get 0-2 broken hours of sleep. She has far too many

nights with not a single second of sleep. This has been going on for nearly two years.Has anyone else experienced this severe of insomnia? How have you found relief? Has anyone dealt with trying to lower known neurotoxicity? Know of any other detox techniques?Any and all help would be much appreciated. The extreme lack of sleep is really taking it's toll on her physically and mentally, and we are in desperate need of some help. Thank you.

hiya Jim!

so nice to hear from you too, and as always,

thanks for your kind helping suggestions and

big heart!

I've been so down, so sick and stuck, I guess

I've just needed

to be with myself quiet for a time. I got to

this place where

i felt backed up against a wall with no new

ideas, and a lot of hopelessness.

the insomnia has flattened me, disabled

everything about me.

the magnesium is about the best thing I've

found, but no matter

how much I swallow, and slather all over me,

it still seems to wear off after about 3

hours,

and I'm back to lying around staring at the

ceiling,

near paralyzed with muscle spasms inside and

out.

i can barely breathe from the tightness in my

gut, back, diaphragm, ribcage etc,

and guess i'm suffering from daytime/nighttime

waking/sleep apnea!

my poor ole digeridoo has been languishing in

a corner  ever

since we brought home our puppy (who's hair

stood on end whenever I honked on it:)

The binural beat music,,,yes I have some, at

your recommendation, on my mp3 player.

and yes, sometimes it helps,,,but so often,

i'm just so spazed out, toxic,

spotlightbrained,

bugs creeppycrawly outmy chinfacearmslegs

bellylikeahardROCK, painall up and down

spineneckeverywhere....You know

the story!!!! We all do here!!!!

I don't detox well at all, and am so toxic.

eeek! any time I touch something that kills

bugs

the insomnia flattens me so big I have to

stop. I'm currently again trying MMS. i inch

my way up to

2 drops, and always have to stop just to get

back to sleeping 2 or 3 hours a night.

Qi Gong. that is currently feeling really

good. It's about the best thing I've found

to help me breathe, and breathing helps all of

me feel better!

what a godsend it is!

and all of you too! what a wondrous group you

all are! thankyou for being, and sharing

the way you do. I'm listening with

appreciation, to your collective wisdom and

kind hearts.

warmly,

Suzy

Hi Suzy!

It is so good to hear from you... :-)

Have you tried using Binarual Beat music,

Delta wave? I find that using

L-Tryptophan and magnesium oil are very

helpful at getting me to sleep,

but once I awaken 4-5 hours later, falling

back asleep can be a challenge...

Then I turn on my MP3 player and set the

timer for 1 hour and listen

to my Delta wave music, I am usually

sleeping in 5 - 10 minutes, sometimes

even quicker.. I also take 3 mg of time

released Melatonin before going

to bed and take another 3 mg of Melatonin

fast release once I awaken...

These few things seem to really help.

If you would like more info on Binaural

Beat music, just let me know and

I will post it for you...

Delta wave music is proven to enduce

sleep..

Stop being such a stranger... :-)

thanks so much , for all your helpful ideas!

I've never tried or even heard of BH4, but it sounds very

interesting.

I'm about as sensitive to everything as a human can get, including

every

detox remedy i've ever tried. I don't currently have a doctor,

and so will look

into the homeopathic version that you mentioned. I've tried

Ornithine before, and

had a reaction,,,gave me more insomnia. that was awhile ago

though, so i'm ready

to give it another try. L aspartate is new to me, as well as NH4,

so I'll check these out, and let

you know if they are helpful. do you take them before bed,,or

during the night when you wake?

or do you take them during the day. I've also never tried

Slumberease. Is this a homeopathic?

A few years ago I got a Biomedici device, when people here were

writing that it was helpful for sleep.

unfortunately for me, it seemed to increase my insomnia

dramatically. weird huh?

maybe i'll try it again too, it's been a couple of years. could

you tell me what setting you

use for sleep? I'll dust it off, and give it another try. maybe

this time it will bring some sweet zzzs.

i sure am ready!

again, manymany thanks for all your wisdom and help.

warmly,

Suzy

Hi Suzy,

I am curious if you have tried BH4 by Ecological Formulas?

I have the Dr. Cowden Laser Detox Therapy DVDs and a

doctor who was presenting on the Amy Yasko protocol, said

that she was so toxic when she went to Dr. Cowden for

Laser Detox, that he said she was too sick and toxic to

Detox. She started taking pharmaceutical BH4 to help with

Ammonia problems and she is completely better. It really

turned her problems around. Unfortunately, the only place

to get Pharmaceutical BH4 is from Germany and you must

have a prescription for it. However, there is a

homeopathic version made by Ecological Formulas that you

might try. I would also take a lot of Ammonia support

products, NH4 Redox by Ecological Formulas and L

Ornithine, L Aspartate work best for me and I have tried

them all because the coil machine really causes a lot of

Ammonia problems due to die off. Anyway if I take enough

of these two products I am able to sleep and the

Neurological pain in my legs that tends to keep me awake

at night when I am herxing gets much better allowing me to

sleep. I also really love a product called Slumberease

that comes in a little dropper bottle. I put about 1/3 of

a dropper full under my tongue and it really helps. I

would also recommend having a NAET treatment on Ammonia,

Sulphur and Quinolinic Acid. The Neuro pain goes away when

I clear Ammonia even though it is only temporary. It might

give you a much needed reprieve from pain. Just some

thoughts on things that have helped me. Another thing that

has helped me sleep is a small magnetic pulsing device

called the Biomedici. I place it under my pillow at night

and it stimulates the bodies production of Melatonin. It

is relatively inexpensive $150.00 and you can find it at

www.magnetictherapycure.com

Take care and hang in there,

Hey Suzy! Now I don't stay up all night anymore! I have no problems getting to sleep, just sometimes 3 - 5 hours later I awaken and maynot get back to sleep so quickly... Binaural beats seem to work, but if they don't, I am up for a few hours  :-((((

I think that computer program that eliminates blue light as darkness falls is going to be a real winner for us insomniacs... Blue light is what dumps the melatonin in the brain, thus we don't want to sleep... As I am typing now, no blue lights, thus

the melatonin in my brain is still there!!   Also, get yourself a pair of blue blockersunglasses and wear them in the house after the sun goes down, any kind of light causes the brain to dump melatonin..

Before we had electricity, humans awoke at sunrise, fell asleep at sunset, so they didn't have the issues we have today...An I know Lyme only makes this worse..  Well it is warm here in Jax, actually this year we had 44 days in a row over 90 degrees, most were over 95! Last time the records

showed this much heat was in 1871! And that was the last time Jax had a direct hit hurricane!  You don't want to put clothing over the mag oil, unless you like washing clothes! It won't hurt the mag oil, but it could be messy...  But you can apply

it as many times as you like daily, just allow it to stay on for 20 - 30 minutes, then wipe off with a wet cloth, towel dry. Then you can apply again.. Building mag levels using mag oil is the best way as mag oil is highly absorbed by the body, and since it is

also mag chloride, we get plenty of chloride which is necessary for good health... Another thing you can do isuse a foot bath, place 1 - 2 ounces of mag oil in a few inches of warm water, allow a 30 minute soak... You can also

do this as many times as you like daily...  I would suggest you apply your last dose of mag oil close to bedtime as this does help with sleep...I then shower it off and it really does help bring sleep for me. I also use L-Tryptophan and melatonin supps... And if that does not put me to sleep,

then I use the Binarual beat music, it works about 90% of the time.. I leave it on for 1 hour but I am usually asleep in 5 - 10 minutes.. Now don't start telling me about that nice cool weather you are having! Right about now I am ready for a cool-down! It's been so

hot for so long! I never complain about the heat, well I am this year  :-)So looney tune, I hope something I've suggested gets you some zzzz's!!Jim!

Re: Re: OT: Extreme Insomnia - neurotoxicity - Suggestions?

hiya dear Jim,back then, during our digeridoo days, we had a pretty fine

game of insomnia badmitten going on, hitting that birdy over the netand...it's YOUR turn to stay up all night humming songs with themoon.leave it to Jim to come up with some brand new insomnia miraclescures!!!

i've never heard of blue light blockers, so i got to work right away, and downloaded that program for my puter here. now it's glowing sorta pinkyyellowy like a very very faint nearlyetheric peach! i like it. and maybe

even, i'll sleep sound till morning now. thanks pal!one thing i wonder about, is how one really slathers that much magnesium oilall over a body that is covered with so many layers and layers of clothing. now maybe in florida, you don't

need so many layers, but around here, in chilly coastal california, we're havingthe coolest summer i ever remember! i've hardly taken off my winter coat, and keep wishing we hadn't run out of dry wood for our stove. so covering my

body with sticky magnesium oil, and then putting on all those layers of clothes on top...well, it's goshdarn STICKY!!! do you have any suggestions? i end up mostly rolling upmy shirtsleeves and using my arms as receptacles, but right now as i type....i'm getting pools

of magnesium oil all over my keyboard. hopefully my computer is getting VERY RELAXED!!!OK, time to get turn this computer off and get quiet,,,,ask that SAndman to come find me with an extra big bucketof his most slumberrich sweet zzzzzs. i'm turning into quite a loony tune....

being ON buzzbuzzjust about all the timeall the time!!!!!!   eeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!may many sweethealing dreams find us all tonight,Suzy

Hey Suzy,I think I caught insomnia from you... :-)  Way back then I was dealing with " some " insomnia, then one day it just got

to its worst... I just posted about this to Barbara, just a few posts before this one... Suggestions I made to her I am actually using every night to combat insomnia...

Wear blue blocker sunglasses in the house when the sun goes down...Using the " flux " blue light blocker software, seems to work on all computers..

Sleep with a sleeping mask, this way no light can destroy the serotonin/melatonin my brain has produced that day.. Even a tiny dot of light

can eliminate the melatonin.. Taking L-Tryptophan and magnesium oil every night.

And use Binaural Beat music as needed... I used to use it all of the time.. I even take some melatonin, not sure if it is helping or not, but I know it is not hurting..

I still don't sleep 100% but I am far better than when I was at my worst..

If the magnesium is wearing off, you may still be magnesium deficient. On a typical day, I use 160 sprays of 100% mag oil...Gotta remember, the Lyme bacteria consumes some of it daily from us. You can use multiple applications daily if you wish..

If you do have sleep apnea, you may need to see a doctor and get a C-Pap machine, these help you breath while you are sleeping. My neighbor had a terrible time sleeping until he got his C-Pap...

Well your digeridoo is not alone! Mine has its own corner... :-)  Wasn't this helping you sleep at one time? If so, may be

worth dusting the ole gal off and playing it again.. As I recall, you were going to be the band leader... :-)Good the Qi Gong is helping... I try to find things that help a symptom of two and then stick with it if it works.. Lyme isn't about

getting better all at once, it is about ridding one symptom at a time... Then hopefully one day there are no symptoms left!

I would imagine not breathing well and then breathing well again is a good feeling... Since this symptom is much better and

you are feeling better, time to pick another symptom and go after it.. Are you getting out into the sunshine every day? No sunscreens,no sunglasses, as much skin showing as possible, 15 - 30 minutes between Noon and 2:00PM... This is so healthy, everyone

with a chronic illness should do this... One day and one symptom at a time Suzy......

Really nice hearing from you!Jim

Hi Suzy,

Don't forget, you can soak your feet in mag oil several times daily!

The more times you soak, the more mag your body will gain...

Gosh, it is starting to get cold her... Down in the 80's now, thank

goodness them 90's are gone for this year!

thanks Jim,

It's turning out to be much more doable for me

to cover my feet and legs with Mag, rather than

my arms. somehow I can handle the stickiness a bit

more gracefully when it's on my legs and feet! and can handle

having skin exposed to foggy cool temps too, when it's my

legs! thanks for the great tip! I'm sitting here at the computer

typing away, and NOT getting my keyboard and desk all slimy.

yay!!!!

Suzy
