Guest guest
Sears also has a program that replaces both lenses and frames that have been damaged for any reason for a period of two years. It's a must for . We bought him two pairs of glasses at Sears, and take them in to be replaced every two motnhs or so. Unfortunately the selection of frames is not that great, but we found a frame that worked for us. Guest guest
Michele, I gave up for a month or so. Just absolutely said " THIS IS IT - I've had it " . Then like I said, just put em on and took em right off her. This didn't sit well with the Control Queen. So, of course, because " I " took them off right away, she obviously wanted them right back. For good. I have no words of wisdom, no tips or ideas. Kennedy wore them when Kennedy was ready. I think this will be the way with most things, no matter how much people tell me to push her. She will do what she wants when she wants. Good luck - I know what you're going through my dear!!!! Guest guest
I think that is so funny to hear about the 'control queen'! Aren't kids funny! The latest funny thing at my house is that Austin just absolutly loves his sunglasses! I mean he wants to wear them all the time. He puts them on and takes them off and puts them on upside down then switches them over - he just loves them. Well, naturally, his little sister, who adores everything he does, really, really wants those darn sunglasses. She is also entering the 'control queen' stage (13.5 months) and he has always thought he was/is the only kid in the world....you see where I'm going with this??? It's like the WWF in my living room and it is soooo funny. They are such little stinkers, I swear! But, it is really forcing Austin to interact with his sister, and like I said, he likes to think he is the only child. SMILE!! Guest guest
Jeanne- Thanks for all the advice. I've only let her wear them when I'm right there -- which seriously cuts down the possible time cuz I just don't have the patience to sit with her nonstop for too long. Terrible mommy, I know... I have considered asking the therapists about it cuz that's a sure time she will get nonstop attention. Michele mom to Aubrie (18 mos) CHaRgE and (7 yrs), wife to DJ, in IL westml@...
