Guest guest
Fabulous goals Rechelle. If you even do half of them it's going to be an incredible year. Very best of luck with number 1. I know how tough it is but if my hubby can do it, anyone can - he's ten years out now. I hope we can get to meet soon! I'll always remember the warm welcome you gave me as a newbie on the other board. Carol, Anaheim Hills, CA Lap RNY 4/2/04 235/135/133 Re: What are your New Year's Resolutions? Beautiful post Jodi, about the setting oneself up for failure, and accepting self. That for me, will be an ongoing project, and something I try to do. I have come along way, but have a long way to go. I will work on that this year, as I have for the past 3.5 years, and I will consider any progress an accomplishment. Life is a Journey. I posted my resolutions. Hit send, they ended up in Cyber land. I loved Kathy's organized list of things to do this year. I have several things I will be striving for. 1. Quit smoking Jan 1st. 2. Exercise regularly, eat better. (this wasn't one of my resolutions last year, but I *sigh*, MUST make it a priority once again. 3. Complete 2 semesters of ASL (American Sign Language) 4. Make extra money on ebay, and advertise and market my Notary Public Services. (Europe here I come) 5. Put an end to the " keeping up with the " type of spending. (If you have it, I want it, if I want it, I need it) This is wreaking havoc on my finances. 6. Abdominioplasty, June or July 2005 (if I am successful with #1) 7. Take more Bubble baths (I complained for 20 years, that I can't even take a bath, now that I can, I have taken 2) 8. Ride my bike more 9. Keep my boundaries, and continue to define them, for me and others in my life, who may need reminding *wink*, love you Mom. LOL 10. Do something for someone else, without any one knowing about it. 11. Love more, laugh more, play more. There are many goals, that I have that are not listed, but life has a way of working things out, when you put your best foot forward, so I am gonna move forward, and see how it goes. I haven't been disappointed with my personal growth, since 2001. Love and Happiness, may find us all, if we look in the right place. Rechelle Happy New Year, to all you, LOSERS, you light up my life.
