Guest guest
Terry - My gut feeling is that your gut feeling is right. And my gut feeling is rarely ever wrong. As I always say....don't let anyone tell you what to do...You're his Mom and you know best. Advice is good, but when it comes right down to it.....well, you know. Good Luck!!! I was thinking that because you said he had a hard time after it wears off. Guest guest
Alec wouldn't leave a patch on either. We never tried one but he has torn off every bandaid we ever put on him and an IV when he was a baby. Cant stand that stuff. I hope you find something that works. Guest guest
Terry, He's on 10mg Adderall in the a.m. only, and 10mg Paxil in the a.m. and another 5mg at dinnertime. He is a very high stress/anxiety kid. is now on 20mg Adderall in a.m. only and 10mg Paxil in the a.m. and again at dinnertime. is very ADD! The med combo helped with his OCD behaviors and lowered some of his sensory issues. He started giving us his cheek to kiss instead of the top of his head and began telling me he loves me! Both started right after the meds. It also calmed his aggressive responses, although he and have had some episodes lately but neither have taken a swing at me. Unfortunately, my dh has gotten bit a couple times by the younger one! By the way, I also remember that saying well! If you are Ron's age, we're all there together! He kind of bends his head down in front of us for us to give him a kiss...I don't complain too much tho because the times he has been coaxed into giving a " normal " kiss, he's left his mouth wide open, LOL > meds. Hasn't happened in a while though (knock on wood) even with him being pretty rageful lately. ******Terry****** Wife to: Ron Mom to: Alec 10, NVLD - Sam 4, Autism - Abbie 3, PDD-NOS
