Guest guest
Hi Lena,My wife just told me her Mom had a ganglion cyst years ago, was out playing ball with her two sons, went to throw the ball, the back of her wrist hit a tree, the cyst broke and never returned... It this an option for you? Probably not... :-) So I checked to see what I had in my files and came up with a few things... I've never had these, so I can't share any personalexperiences... This site is interesting... They say one of these cysts is a build up of toxins... They sell this clay on this link.. Calcium Montmorillonite Clay http://www.i-amperfectlyhealthy.com/GanglionCyst.htmlhttp://www.i-amperfectlyhealthy.com/RedDesertClay-HomePage.html Sticking with clay, here is a link that says Bentonite clay may also be helpful... (my thinking is you may have some of this)http://www.infertilityworkshop.com/articles/naturalhealth/bentonite.htm And now thinking about French Green Clay (maybe you have some of this?), this link says it may help...http://www.lymecommunity.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/3098/page/32 Which also makes me think Azomite may also work.. Here is one of my old favorites, Turmeric... This one says to use the extract... >>>Herbal Remedies World's website says taking 400 to 600 milligrams of turmeric extract per day could be beneficial as an anti-inflammatory within two months<<<< http://www.swansonvitamins.com/NW534/ItemDetail http://www.livestrong.com/article/311637-herbal-treatment-for-a-ganglion-cyst/ http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/askquestion/12208/ganglion-cysts-remedy-ganglion-cysts.html >>>Ganglion cyst remedies can be varied as sometimes these cysts may disappear as easily as they come. It can also be surgically removed by using local anaesthesia. But surgical removal is not a guarantee that it would not reoccur.............You can use this herb as a compress. Hazel or white oak bark tea can be used to cover the ganglion cyst so that the compress will be able to penetrate through and through. This kind of ganglion cyst home remedy will help to shrink the cyst and reduce it in size. It also helps if the cysts are small because as they shrink further one would be able to get rid of it. I have seen this reference a few times, that they just may disappear.... http://www.rebuildyourback.com/anti-quackery/acupuncture-cures-a-ganglion-cyst.php >>>leave it. it should go away on it’s own.<<< Doesn't sound like surgery is a good option as they may grow back... Let me know what you eventually try and how it works... Jim OT: Ganglion cyst Message List Reply | Delete Message #27509 of 27517 < Prev | Next > Hi Jim et al, I've had ganglion cysts before, on the back of wrist, and at the base of a finger or two on the palm. They went away on their own. I've read that aspiration of fluid or surgery is the only remedy if they don't go away on their own. This new one just sprouted on the base of my thumb: hard, the size of a pea, pretty painful, and very much in the way of normal functioning. Any suggestions as to how to encourage it to leave quickly? I'm doing Reiki, mag oil, Brook's mix, and trying not to abuse it. These remedies have improved circulation, so now the discomfort has spread out into a general ache in the a.m., and the heavy rain and low-pressure weather here isn't helping. Just made a mix of ', ibuprofen, and cayenne to see if that helps. (made that for my fading tendonitis; if it isn't one thing, it's another!) Would a castor oil pack do anything? I'd really like to avoid a medical encounter if possible. I read that hitting it (the bible bump) is a bad and possibly damaging idea.) Normally, I'd just apply patience, but it's interfering with much that I need to do before we get on the road. Thanks for any wisdom, Be well,Léna
