Guest guest
Yes, she does have her own Armour now, thank goodness. OK, now I have a question. I switched Mandy from 60 mg. am of Armour, to 30 mg. am and 30 mg. at 3:30 (as I mentioned in my previous post.) She was fine the first day on the 60 mg. all at once in the am, then the 2nd and third day she said she had a headache in the evening. She had headaches previous to being on Armour in the evenings, which is why I switched her, thinking she's running out of T3 by the evening hence the headaches. Does this sound correct? Or could the headaches be from having too much armour all at once? LOL my kiddo tried the burying the pills in the bed trick! LOL didn't work for long. Fortunately the kind of LD she has makes her unable to lie! LOLOLOL It felt like a big deal at the time, but she has been responsible for awhile, now. (I still trust but verify!) I hope you give this girl her own Armour, now!? .... My daughter would rather be sick. When I got her NutriMeds, she hid themin the couch and took my armour instead. That's how I figured out she was truly hypo, it was the best week of her life!Best, No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.Version: 7.1.394 / Virus Database: 268.9.8/380 - Release Date: 6/30/2006
Guest guest
Hi Michele, I just wanted to chime in here about the headaches. I am finally up to 3 1/2 grains of Armour and if I don't take it on time I get a headache. One of my worst symptoms while on synthroid (12 lost years) was a headache. It only happened in the last 2 years so it was very strange to me and I didn't put 2 and 2 together until I found this group. I read several places that headaches were a hypo symptom and have since learned that they are an adrenal fatigue sypmtom as well. I do find that they respond more to the Armour rather than the hyrdorcortisone. I am or was or am in stage 7 of the adrenal fatigue/failure. Haven't felt too good but the darn headaches are gone. They left completely when I got up to 20mg of HC and 3 1/4 grains of Armour. I am soooooo glad to be rid of those suckers! I also read in a previous post that Cytomel was causing someone headaches so maybe it is too much T3. In my case it wasn't enough. If I forget to take my Armour, my head reminds me. I am also glad to report that my 8 year old daughter tested nearly perfect for her thyroid. I was so convinced she was hypo but she was in the top range for both her T3 and T4. Since school has gotten out she is a new kid. Maybe she just had burnout. She now has a base line for the future. a > > Yes, she does have her own Armour now, thank goodness. > > OK, now I have a question.
